Today, Tes speaks with Shan Fannin. Shan is a former marketing director that left the corporate world to homeschool their son for 16yrs., own a mural business, and teach art and world religion in a private school. Once her son started college, she returned to art by taking a handful of community college art classes including life drawing and beginning painting in 2012-2013. She became a professional realist vehicle artist in February 2015.
Quotes from Shan:
“I firmly believe that anyone can follow their passion and make a difference at any age. I didn’t start on my creative journey until I was 46 years old. I try to encourage others to follow their heart, and do what makes them happy.”
“What I have is a need to do my best, help other creatives, and bring joy through my paintings.”
